Dr. Mwangi is a principle scientist at the Center for International Forestry Research. Her research has focused on understanding property rights and tenure issues, including the determinants of tenure security and insecurity. She has also been involved in identifying policy and practice options for securing the tenure rights of women as well as of local communities.
