FIG Working Week 2027 will bring the international surveying and geospatial community to Stavanger, Norway, on May 23–27. Held alongside Norway’s Geomatikkdagene, the event will connect research, professional practice and public policy under the theme The Power of Where for the New Generations.
The announced themes span the Arctic, coastal and ocean management, climate adaptation, smart cities, young professionals and resilient societies. Organizers identify land and resource rights, cadastre and reliable spatial information among the issues connecting these fields. For the tenure community, the gathering offers opportunities to engage with the institutions, tools and professional standards that support land administration.
The main conference sessions are scheduled for May 24–26 at Stavanger Forum and Expo, with related activities around those dates. FIG has announced an open call for abstracts, while delegate registration is scheduled to begin in October 2026.
